It's been a while

Well, believe it or not work never stopped.

Things have changed, Ronan and I have parted ways but are still very much on good terms.

I only just redescovered this blog. Perhaps it will see more use in time!

What's In a Name?

This project was first conceived in 2006. 2 years later the required knowledge and time enabled development to start and a version, called MobPlanet (www.mobpla.net) was created in PHP.

With the name's credit Going to Ronan, we aimed to create a parrelel site, with less of a crime focus and more of a virtual world focus. Thanks to Ronan's insight the name JetPlanet was used for this. Basically he was reffering to the jet-set life users would be able to simulate through the site.

Thanks to new found knowledge in ASP.NET these PHP versions were ceased and instead a new project, with a markedly different approach to the virtual world was created. It currently goes under the working title of Total Takeove and can be found at www.nathanmurados.com/helper/default.aspx.

Hopefully that will be the last time we change it!
